Taylor Alison Swift, the billionaire and music creator, who hardly needs any introduction, rerecords her albums. Swift has rerecorded her first six albums. She did this because Scooter Braun took over the record label she was under (Big Machine Records) and he stole the rights to her music. Swift wasn’t too happy about that.
Swift’s sixth album “reputation”, or “rep” as Swifties like to call it, is getting speculated that she’s rereleasing this one next. Swift is known to leave little hints she likes to call “Easter Eggs”. Swift has even said it herself a couple times in interviews with “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon”, as well as “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
In Swift’s music video “Bejeweled”, her left thumb is painted blue and her right thumb is painted black. She shows her nails when holding a coffee mug with a clock on it, the arrows pointed at about 12:57. In October 2023, Swift re released “1989 (Taylor’s Version)”. Speaking of “1989 (Taylor’s Version)”, on the vinyls, Swift added a snake head to the “S” in the “Taylor’s Version”. Snakes are a big part of “reputation”. The Eras Tour bodysuit she wears for “rep” has a red snake on it. Since she did this, Swifties have been led to the conclusion “reputation (Taylor’s Version)” is next and getting released soon.
On The Eras Tour, during the “Red” era, Swift threw up a “20” instead of a “22” with her fingers. She did this in August, which led us to think August 20th was the date she would announce the new album. This date was also a tour date, leading to greater speculation. During the Grammys, Swift’s website went down and there was a code saying 321 red herring.
In the song “Delicate”, there’s a chant at the beginning (1,2,3 legs go b****), and we all thought she was gonna release “rep tv” the day of the Grammys. However, instead she released a whole new album, “The Tortured Poets Department” (TTPD).
Swift has different outfits for different eras and she’s been using patterns for her outfits. For example, for the “folklore” dresses, she would wear the “berry” dress and then wait six shows to bring it out again (the number six appearing again). Fans have noticed she’s been doing this pattern with a lot of her outfits. During the Eras Tour, Swift likes to bring out different outfits for different eras. Taylor brought out two new “fearless” dresses, both “rep” coded, and one of them looks like the “rep” bodysuit Taylor wore on the reputation tour.
In the “Look what you made me do” music video, Ttaylor is in a tiger sweater and there are people surrounding her, wearing matching outfits in different colors. Taylor’s new “1989” era fits are the exact same colors as the ones in the music video. Swift even has a tiger necklace on the outfit.
In Swift’s song “Guilty as Sin”, there’s a line that says “I keep these longings locked in lowercase inside the vault”. Swift refers to the albums she has rerecorded, yet they are stuck in the vault. “Rep” is in lowercase.
December 2023, Swift released a winter collection of her merch, and one of the items was a “reputation” hoodie. It was called “There will be no explanation, there will just be reputation”, meaning Swift can drop “rep tv” whenever she wants to. You really never know what Swift’s next move is gonna be.
On Spotify, when you play music, there’s a little video that plays while you listen to songs. When you play “All You Had To Do Was Stay”, it’s Taylor’s eye and it’s extra blue, just like in the “…Ready for it?” music video. “Rep” comes after “1989”. Speaking of “1989 tv”, in the “You are In Love” lyric video, it’s a beach and the waves are crashing and it’s a view from the top and there’s letters in the sand that spell out “rep”.
