The 2025 Grammys was a night to remember for many. For some, it was in a positive dream-come-true way, but others feel that they have had theirs taken away.

One of the main controversies from this year’s Grammys ceremony was Billie Eilish not winning one award for her album, “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT”. Eilish and her brother put their hearts and soul into this album and it touched millions of people.

Many people were surprised that not even one of her songs earned an award, such as “WILDFLOWER” or “BIRDS OF A FEATHER”.” These songs were complete hits and were trending since the moment they were released.

Instead, Beyonce’s album,“Cowboy Carter” won album of the year. Many people did not even know Beyonce released an album and it did not speak to many. 

When she received the award she said, “I was not expecting this,” further showing how even Beyonce herself was surprised. Eilish was robbed this year and everyone can agree. 

Eilish’s lyrics were extremely meaningful and moving. They were raw, emotional, and relatable to many. Beyonce’s country album was a matter of preference, but it was nowhere near as iconic as Eilish this past year. 

Social media has been buzzing with this issue since then. Many people are stating everything from their opinions, to showing photos of Eilish’s live reaction. With every award that didn’t go to her, her smile would fade a little more.

This wasn’t her being dramatic or a bad person, but it was understandable, as her album stayed at the top for the rest of the year. 

She deserved at least one award. Many things happened at this year’s Grammys and this was just the icing on the cake. It led to many more conversations about the ceremony being rigged, power within the celebrity community, etc. 

No matter what happened to have Eilish not win anything, it was completely not fair.
