Murry and Joe are both involved in a popular T.V. show called “Impractical Jokers.” Tons of viewers watch these four lifelong friends embarrass themselves and whoever loses the challenges does one big public humiliation. Although the show is funny, Murry and Joe are the only suspects facing pedofile allegations.

 Although it was in March of this year, that story has come up to the surface. This is alleged to have happened February 2012 to January 2013. 

At the time, the victim of the situation, who remained nameless, was a 16 to 18 year old girl, named Melyssa, using one of her online accounts to reach out to the celebrities she adored. 

As she reached out to Murray (who at the time was 35), they began to develop a unique relationship. They were talking about how she wanted to remain single until she was of age and supposedly Murray had replied; “Haha, you’re awesome… Once you turn 18, email me the same question and I’ll be happy to answer. I’ll do my best, I promise.” He sent this to a 16 year old girl who was simply teasing. 

The woman at the time reported that she was 16 to 18 years old and the only reason she stuck around that long was because she was just a kid who was overwhelmed with excitement that a celebrity she really liked also liked her. 

She also shared a tweet saying that he also offered her meet and greet tickets. She took them and even met Murry before the show.

 She wasn’t alone with Murry though, she had brought another friend most likely around the same age and they were given drinks all night while under the supervision of the actor. 

She then stated; “He kissed me. I don’t remember much else from that night.”

After that, Melyssa and Murry met up a multitude of times and Murry would provide her with money and many other luxuries.. 

Melyssa also claims that the two had said “I love you” to each other and had mentions of sexual items and other explicit objects. 

She alleged that one time during a trip to New York city Murry had invited her over at midnight. She says now that she wants us to remember that she was young and naive and that she truly thought that a celebrity liked her. And to a teenage girl, talking to a celebrity you really like is the coolest thing ever. But she does acknowledge her part in this whole situation and she’s sharing so that it spreads awareness so something worse doesn’t happen. 

Murray has not yet responded to the public about these allegations.

But he has indeed liked videos online regarding Joe Gatto’s case. 

Joe Gatto is one of Murry’s life long friends that Murry and two others mess around with, but Joe Gatto is facing allegations of sexual assault.

A 20-year-old woman posted a video (which is now taken down) about how Joe Gatto had sexually assaulted her in 2023 when she was 19 years old.  

The post had said that they were texting before a show and the texts between the two had started to get a little bit weirder as time went on. After some texting, Gatto invited her to his room, where the assault allegedly happened. 

Afterward, the video blew up and was brought to Joe’s attention. He immediately replied: “I have used poor judgment and as a result have violated the trust of the people I love most but anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn’t assault anyone. Working on myself is an ongoing process, and I am now going to take some time away from the public eye to focus my energies where I need to.” (tvinsider)

Shortly after her story came out, another woman who was a coworker with Joe said something similar. She had told people that she’d had also been sexually harassed by Gatto and his unwarranted behaviors. She said that she had first met Gatto at one of his shows when she was 15, but by the time she turned 18 he had become more flirty with her. Once she started to work on Impractical Jokers with Gatto, he would practically beg for things like cuddling and back massages and would frequently make conversation regarding the lady’s private love life. When she would turn down his advances, Gatto would just start using emotional manipulation against her. She ended up leaving the show after two years of working there. 

He didn’t address this acquisition, and instead he had canceled his upcoming tour and then began inpatient treatment. Afterward he thanked his supporters and fans. 

After everything, he had really stepped back from the show and social media. 

Both Gatto and Murr are being accused and neither are one hundred percent that these things actually happened. Though they are getting a lot of attention and may be true nothing at the moment is proven for certain due to the fact that these story’s came out not too long ago and they are probably still handling it.
