On November 19, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump passed a bill calling for the immediate release of the Epstein files and a full-blown investigation into former President Bill Clinton’s ties with Jeffrey Epstein, along with a question that everyone has been wondering: Who is “Bubba”?
In a recent leak of emails between Trump, Clinton, and Epstein, it was revealed that the three of them were somehow involved in the Jeffrey Epstein case from the early 2000s. However, Trump is currently denying all allegations, claiming that he was not acquainted with Epstein after his incarceration.
Epstein was an extremely wealthy American financier who owned multiple private jets, high-value real estate properties, and even his own private island. However, his wealth was derived from human and sex trafficking, a disgusting act that does not go unpunished by the law. According to the Department of Justice, Epstein trafficked young girls, with his youngest victim being only 14.
The Department of Justice also added that Epstein would traffic these young girls, make them engage in sexual acts with him, and then pay them in cash to not speak about the abuse to anyone. He would also pay them to recruit more girls so that he could continue the activities.
According to ABC News, both Trump and Clinton were closely affiliated with Epstein before his imprisonment. However, the two claim that after Epstein’s acts were revealed, they immediately cut ties with him. Interestingly enough, even after almost two decades, little to nothing has been revealed about the Epstein files.
USA Today describes that the Epstein files have not been leaked due to “court-ordered sealing that was issued to protect victims and not expose additional third-parties to allegations of illegal wrongdoing.” However, the public has been demanding the release of the Epstein files for multiple years, and although Trump has yet to acknowledge these demands, he recently demanded a sudden release of the files. While the bill may take some time to pass, one thing is for certain– and that is that the public’s demands have been met.
One of our very own seniors, Jasmine Barker-Forester, also added her own input into the story, explaining, “I think it’s really stupid that he’s releasing them now because I’m not gonna trust it because he’s had time to look over it and blur all the republicans’ names and his name out. All the people that I want to know about, and he’s just going to leave all the democrats and anyone who voted for Kamala on it, so I’m never going to trust him. That’s why I think it’s going to be really dumb.”
In addition, multiple people across the world have begun to claim that Trump only announced this release after an absurd leak of the Epstein files. According to Newsweek, an email in the Epstein files has been leaked, and in it, Donald Trump is described as inappropriately engaging with an individual by the code-name of “Bubba.”
This leak has led to scrutiny on multiple social media platforms, spiking debate and multiple questions that have been left unanswered. One question that everyone has been wondering about for sure is “who even is Bubba?”
In the leaked email between Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, Newsweek states that Trump is depicted as “blowing Bubba.” While Epstein’s brother claims that the conversation was just a humorous exchange between family, the public has noted that Bubba was a well-known nickname for Bill Clinton. However, Epstein’s brother claims that the Bubba in the emails is not Clinton, leaving the public to wonder whether he is just covering up an incident between both presidents or if it really was just a humorous email with no deeper meaning. However, the internet, as it always does, has taken a step further and begun to conspire whether Bubba is Bill Clinton, or a horse at the island who shares the same name.
While both theories are outrageous, neither of them has been confirmed by Trump.
Trump is denying any incident with this “Bubba” character, claiming that he has no idea who Bubba even is. This email prompted him to begin an investigation into Clinton’s ties with Epstein, but so far, neither the Justice Department nor the FBI has confirmed anything. ABC News adds that in the emails, Bill Clinton was proven to have “done nothing and knew nothing” about
Epstein’s heinous acts.
Senior Sherry Rojas added her opinion to the topic, claiming that, “I feel like the Epstein files haven’t been fully released, and even though Donald Trump and Bill Clinton are just pointing fingers at each other, I want to know who’s actually in there. I want to know what’s going on in our country, who is a pedophile, and I just feel like they should release everything because as a country we need to be united against the pedophiles. So it’s like, why are we protecting the pedophiles in the first place?”
Trump was a friend of Epstein’s for multiple years, but they fell off, he claimed, two years before Epstein’s first arrest. Trump has informed news reporters at the White House about the situation, telling them, “I never went to the Island. I never had the privilege of going to his island, and I did turn it down, but a lot of people in Palm Beach were invited to his island. In one of my very good moments, I turned it down, I didn’t want to go to his island,” he states.
On the other hand, Trump claims that Clinton has been to the island over twenty times, while he himself has never personally been there before. Ever since the “Bubba Incident,” Trump has gone to great lengths to clear his name of any lingering allegations.
As suspicions between Trump, Clinton, and Epstein continue to rise, the media continues to demand the release of the Epstein files and explain the connections between them and the hidden events that occurred on Epstein’s private island. While Trump has passed a bill for the release of the Epstein files, this is only one small step out of hundreds more that need to be taken.
