Ninjago First premiered in January 2011 with its pilot episodes. Since then, it has come a long way, with 15 seasons, a special, side episodes, a movie, and more recently, a continuing series by the name of Dragons Rising.
Ninjago is no stranger to fame and success, as the series has been popular even when it first came out. The new series is no different. It has managed to revive the show and attract more fans, especially with its new season 4.
The season follows the ninja as they try to regroup after getting separated. They face challenges and regroup at the end to face the villain.
There are 10 episodes in part one of the new season, and part two comes out sometime in fall 2026.
Fans enjoyed season 4 greatly, mentioning how it improved the animation style greatly, and the storyline remained interesting and lived up to expectations.
The season starts with the ninja separated in different areas as they work towards getting back together and dealing with weird monsters. They find out the root of the problem, and with newly gained power, win their battles.
Along with the main storyline, there are a few subplots. The ninja Jay gets his memories back, Lloyd finds out more about his destiny, and more.
These additions to the characters have been a huge hit among fans. Freshman Jane Zhang said, “I’m not a huge fan of the original series, but I thought that this season did a good job at expanding on some personalities.” The original characters had a lot of time to shine and show who they are, along with the new ninja.
They had even more depth than the old seasons; there was more emotion, and it was obvious that care was put into the show.
The old show had animation errors, voice actor errors, and confusing plots. That’s not to say no effort was put into it, but compared to the new seasons, especially season 4, it is clear there has been a lot of improvement since then.
Season 4 has become a hit with fans, especially due to its fight scenes. Perspective played a huge role in the animation, and the audience was lured in to keep watching with the interesting action.
While season 4 doesn’t have a direct rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the Dragons Rising series in general has a 87% Popcornmeter. The popcorn meter shows the fans’ rating of the show/movie.
This shows how popular the series in general is and how much of a success this is for LEGO.
Freshman Boni Huang states, “I think that this success is great for LEGO, and the series will help make a lot of money with merchandise.” With the success of the show, more fans are inclined to buy new LEGO sets based on the season, which can help keep the show going and make both the fans and the company happy.
It seems that from the audience’s point of view, Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 4 was a huge success!
